MEET PASTOR McAFEE
A Faithful Man of God and Servant Leader
For over 45 years Pastor Gregory McAfee, Sr. has devoted his life not only to the gospel of Jesus Christ, but also the ministry of Grace Congregational Church. Shortly after joining the church, he was ordained as an Elder in 1976. Over the years, Pastor McAfee has served faithfully in various capacities within the Grace ministry. His roles have included Street Preacher, reaching out to anyone who would listen, Church School Teacher, Youth Director, Chapel Minister at R. L. Finney Christian Academy, Volunteer in Door-to-Door Witnessing and a Participant in the Hurricane Harvey Outreach.
Currently, as the GCC Executive Pastor, Pastor McAfee provides oversight, care, and guidance for all GCC staff and volunteers. He not only offers spiritual leadership but also shapes the overall direction of the church, empowering the staff to fulfill the church's mission.
In his role as the Youth and Children’s Pastor, Pastor McAfee leads the Youth and Children's Ministry. He is responsible for developing and implementing curriculum aimed at the spiritual formation of youth and children, as well as equipping parents to nurture their children spiritually.

Additionally, one of Pastor McAfee's innovative initiatives has been to implement a vision for the church to grow and supply its own food, benefiting both its members and the broader community. Periodically, this project is in a testing phase to determine which produce thrives in the local environment and which varieties are favored by the congregation and community.

Pastor McAfee has also traveled with fellow GCC members to support saints in Russia, delivering trunk loads of dry goods, clothing, and other essential supplies.
On a personal note, Pastor McAfee is married to the humble, compassionate, and devoted Lady Sheridyn McAfee. Together, they exemplify a partnership in ministry, with Lady Sheridyn serving tirelessly as a helpmate and virtuous woman. The couple is blessed with one daughter, one son, two grandsons, and three granddaughters.
